<Command>
<Name>drum move &lt; position &gt; [ [ &lt; velocity &gt; ] | [ s ] ]</Name>
<Description>
<DescriptionText><text>
This command moves the drum to a specified position using either an optionally
specified velocity (in RPM) or a default velocity. In addition the drum may be
moved to position in the shortest possible angular distance. If a 'shortest'
move type is specified together with a move velocity the sign of the velocity
(i.e. the direction of the move) may be automatically changed by the firmware
to ensure a 'shortest' move.

<Notes>
<DescriptionText><text>
A 'move' command is the most time efficient method of positioning the drum
since it takes no special measures to ensure the drum is not oscillating at the
end of a move trajectory. The assumption made when positioning the drum with a
'move' command is that the system can tolerate any slight oscillations that may
occur. If small oscillations can not be tolerated the 'smove' command should
be used.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
It is not necessary to stop a spinning drum before issuing a move command.
A stop will occur automatically and the drum will then proceed to the
requested position.
